Saudi Awwal Bank (SAB) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sharakat to support the Sharakah Training Programme, helping prepare Saudi graduates for careers in the privatisation sector as part of the Bank’s corporate social responsibility initiatives.

The collaboration aims to develop graduates’ professional and technical skills, strengthen their understanding of privatisation and its requirements, and explore practical training and employment opportunities. Through the partnership, SAB will support a specialised programme designed to bridge academic knowledge with the practical requirements of public-private partnership projects.

Commenting on the MoU, Faten Abalkhail, Chief Governance and Corporate Affairs Officer at SAB, said: “At SAB, we believe that equipping young people in the knowledge and skills they need is an investment in the future of the national economy. Supporting their transition from education to the workplace creates broader opportunities to build promising careers. Through our support for the Sharakah Training Programme, we aim to help graduates begin their careers with confidence, respond to the evolving needs of the labour market, and contribute to human capital development and the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.”

SAB’s support for the programme reflects its commitment to community initiatives that contribute to developing qualified Saudi talent across key economic sectors. The collaboration is particularly relevant to privatisation projects in services and infrastructure, which require expertise across multiple disciplines and close collaboration between the public and private sectors.
