RIYADH — Minister of Justice Dr. Walid Al-Samaani affirmed that the rules governing the work of technical offices, recently approved by the Supreme Judicial Council, will enhance institutional maturity and quality of judicial work.

The minister noted that the development of judicial work is founded on establishing quality standards, integrating roles, and leveraging data and indicators to improve performance, thereby enhancing the quality of judgments and ensuring the consistent application of judicial regulations and principles.

Al-Samaani expressed his appreciation for the unlimited support of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the support and follow-up of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman for the development taking place in the judicial sector.

He explained that the development of judicial work goes beyond regulating procedures to encompass measuring the quality of outcomes and utilizing review findings to improve working methods and strengthen competencies.

These efforts fall within the framework of implementing the rules governing the work of technical offices, adopted by the Supreme Judicial Council to regulate case preparation and technical review processes and define responsibilities at all levels of litigation, thereby enhancing the quality of judicial work.

The rules promote early technical review and the use of review findings and performance indicators to strengthen institutional knowledge and identify opportunities for improvement. They also enable the use of approved artificial intelligence technologies to support case preparation and technical review processes.
