The organizing committee of the Global Security and Technology Summit (GSTS) held an introductory meeting at the Ministry of Interior in Riyadh to review the summit’s programs and accompanying events. The meeting was attended by representatives of government, private, and nonprofit sectors, as well as international companies.

The committee said the summit will take place in Riyadh from December 18 to 20, 2026, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and under the supervision of Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz.

The summit will be preceded by GSTS Month, running from November 1 to 30, with programs to develop talent and build capabilities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s 13 administrative regions. The program also includes an initiative managed by Tuwaiq Academy to enhance the knowledge of 100 leaders from military, security, and government sectors.

The Global Security and Innovation Fair and Competition (SAIF) will take place from November 24 to 26 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. It will bring together innovators from around the world across 14 fields.

The summit will feature main sessions, specialized discussions, and interactive exhibitions focusing on security and technology. It aims to attract 40,000 visitors, 250 speakers, and 100 local and international partners.

Advisor to the Minister of Interior and Chairman of the GSTS Organizing Committee Ahmed Altowayan said the summit aims to strengthen international cooperation, facilitate knowledge exchange, and promote the use of advanced technologies in security operations.

He added that discussions will cover criminal security, infrastructure security, civil safety, border security, illegal immigration, drug control, environmental security, and development-related security.

The summit is organized by the Ministry of Interior in cooperation with Tuwaiq Academy. The Ministry of Education serves as a strategic partner, Tahakom as a founding partner, and Elm as a main partner, while Tahaluf is responsible for organizing the event.
