King Abdulaziz Hospital in Jeddah has received Primary Stroke Center certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) in recognition of its efforts to improve the quality of healthcare provided to beneficiaries of the stroke pathway, one of the pathways under the Saudi Model of Care, and enhance diagnostic and treatment services in accordance with approved standards.
This achievement builds on the Jeddah First Health Cluster’s efforts to develop specialized medical services and improve emergency care efficiency, particularly for stroke cases that require rapid intervention and accurate diagnosis within the golden hour to save lives.
These efforts improve treatment outcomes and reduce health complications.
The certification reflects the hospital’s progress in providing specialized medical care, its commitment to applying quality and patient safety standards, and its efforts to enhance the readiness of healthcare services to handle critical cases efficiently and effectively.
