The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) has concluded the Mawhiba Summer 2026 programs, which were held in 19 cities across five countries.
The programs featured the participation of more than 12,000 gifted male and female students from across Saudi Arabia.
A total of 53 academic and research institutions and specialized educational entities in Saudi Arabia, China, Japan, the United States, and the United Kingdom hosted and implemented the programs through partnerships that provided students with advanced learning environments and diverse scientific experiences.
Mawhiba Summer featured a range of scientific and enrichment programs in Saudi Arabia and abroad, including the Mawhiba Academic Enrichment Program, the Mawhiba Research Enrichment Program, the Mawhiba Universal Enrichment Program, the Mawhiba Ambassadors Program, and the Video Game Development Program, as well as specialized technology programs.
The initiatives were delivered through 88 enrichment modules designed to expand students’ knowledge and develop their skills across a variety of scientific and technological fields.
Mawhiba Secretary General Abdulaziz Alkaridis said Mawhiba Summer reflects the integration of national efforts to nurture and empower gifted students through qualitative programs. He affirmed that the initiatives are aligned with national priorities and implemented in partnership with universities and academic and research institutions in Saudi Arabia and abroad.
