The National Center for Waste Management (MWAN) participated in IFAT Munich 2026 in Germany through a national pavilion showcasing its key achievements in developing and regulating the waste management sector, while promoting investment opportunities that support the Kingdom’s circular economy and environmental sustainability goals.
MWAN’s participation highlights its role in empowering the sector and enhancing its investment attractiveness by presenting high-quality opportunities and building strategic partnerships with international entities. These efforts contribute to the transfer and localization of modern technologies, in addition to improving the efficiency of the Kingdom’s waste management system.
During the exhibition, MWAN delivered a presentation on the Green Stage, outlining the current investment landscape in the Kingdom’s waste management sector, available opportunities, and the regulatory and legislative frameworks supporting the sector’s growth and competitiveness.
MWAN also participated in an extensive dialogue session on the Orange Stage focused on global financing and infrastructure, where it reviewed leading international experiences and practices in financing infrastructure projects, as well as prospects for developing sustainable investment models within the sector.
