    Saudi FM discusses regional de-escalation in call with UAE, Egyptian counterparts

    RIYADH — Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan received on Sunday phone calls from Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty.

    During the call, Prince Faisal and Sheikh Abdullah Al Nahyan reviewed safety procedures following the heinous attacks on the United Arab Emirates.

    In their phone conversation, Prince Faisal and Badr Abdelatty discussed regional developments. They also reviewed joint efforts for de-escalation in the region and extending support for diplomatic solutions, including Pakistani mediation between the United States and Iran.
