JEDDAH — Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif graced the closing ceremony of the third edition of the Hajj Health and Safety Forum in Jeddah on Wednesday. The forum was organized by the General Administration of Medical Services at the Ministry of Interior.

General Supervisor of the General Administration of Medical Services and the Security Forces Hospital Program Dr. Saleh Al-Mohsen said one of the key objectives of medical services during this year’s Hajj season is to strengthen cooperation among various sectors. He added that the efforts also aimed to improve health and security services provided to pilgrims and enhance coordination among relevant entities.

The minister of interior attended the forum’s concluding ministerial meeting, which brought together ministers and senior officials from the Hajj, health, media, and security sectors. Discussions focused on joint efforts among the security, health, and service sectors, as well as the role of innovation and modern technologies in supporting services provided to pilgrims.

He also toured the exhibition accompanying the forum and reviewed initiatives and technological solutions showcased by participating entities to support the Hajj health and security system and enhance service readiness for pilgrims.
