The General Directorate of Civil Defense has concluded its participation within the Ministry of Interior pavilion at the exhibition accompanying the third edition of the Hajj Media Hub 1447 AH. The high-profile event was hosted at the Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Exhibitions and Events Center from May 20 to 23.
During the hub, the directorate showcased an array of advanced technologies and operational methods deployed to enforce preventive safety measures during the Hajj season. A major highlight of the exhibit was a specialized drone engineered to detect chemical and radioactive materials, underscoring the civil defense’s cutting-edge capabilities and unwavering commitment to guaranteeing the absolute safety of the pilgrims.
