PARIS — The Saudi pavilion was officially inaugurated at Eurosatory 2026, the Global Event for Defense and Security, in Paris on Monday. The General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) is organizing the pavilion from June 15 to 19, with participation of 10 Saudi entities from the public and private sectors.

The exhibition convenes leading defense and security industry leaders from around the world, providing a platform to strengthen partnerships, exchange expertise, and showcase Saudi Arabia’s industrial and service capabilities across the military industries sector, according to a press statement issued by the GAMI.

Governor of the GAMI Eng. Ahmad Al-Ohali inaugurated the Saudi pavilion in the presence of Governor of the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD) Dr. Faleh Al-Sulaiman, Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs Dr. Khaled Al-Biyari, and Saudi Ambassador to France Fahad Al-Ruwaili, alongside chief executive officers of participating Saudi companies, senior military officials, and defense experts and specialists from around the world. During the tour, Eng. Al-Ohali and the attending dignitaries were briefed on the latest industrial and service capabilities, and advanced technologies in the military industries sector.

The Saudi pavilion highlights the significant progress achieved by Saudi Arabia’s military industries sector and showcases advanced defense systems and technologies while opening new avenues for cooperation with leading international companies. Alongside GAMI, 10 Saudi entities from the public and private sectors are participating, including the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources (MIM), the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD), Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), Emaan Industrial Company, Saudi Chemical Company Limited (SCCL), GDC Middle East Company, Life Shield Company, the World Defense Show (WDS), TAM Aerospace & Defense, and Midana Company.

GAMI governor stated that Saudi Arabia’s participation at Eurosatory 2026 reinforces the Kingdom’s leadership in the military industries sector and supports efforts to strengthen partnerships with leading global defense and security companies. He noted that participation also helps attract high-value investments that support the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, including localizing more than 50 percent of military spending by 2030. He added that the Saudi pavilion serves as an important platform to showcase the substantial progress achieved in developing the industrial and service capabilities of national companies.

Throughout the exhibition, the Saudi pavilion will showcase key military industrial and service capabilities that reflect the Kingdom’s efforts to enable the sector. The pavilion will also host bilateral meetings and engagements with international companies and official delegations to exchange knowledge and expertise and advance technology transfer efforts. In addition, it will highlight integrated collaboration between government entities to foster an attractive investment environment for local and international investors by enabling national companies, attracting high-value investments, advancing technology transfer and localization efforts, and exploring opportunities for cooperation and strategic partnerships with leading global companies.

The participation further underscores Saudi Arabia’s growing role in the military industries sector and reaffirms GAMI’s commitment to supporting and enabling national companies, enhancing their international competitiveness, and contributing to national security objectives and sustainable economic development.
