Bigo Live, a leading global social livestreaming platform, has launched a football-themed community engagement campaign designed to bring fans, creators and communities across the GCC, Levant and wider MENA region together during a major moment in the summer football calendar.

Running from 13 to 28 June 2026, the campaign provides a dedicated Bigo Live campaign hub for football conversations, fan predictions, creator-led debates, interactive challenges and reward-based experiences. The activation reflects Bigo Live’s continued focus on turning real-time cultural moments into community-led digital experiences, where audiences can actively participate rather than simply watch.

Across the region, football has long been more than a sport. It is a shared language that brings friends, families and communities together through anticipation, debate, celebration and national pride. This summer, Bigo Live will tap into that spirit by giving fans new ways to express their passion through livestreaming, short-form content and interactive platform activities.

At the heart of the campaign is an on-platform experience featuring football-inspired live missions, prediction activities, country-themed community challenges, trivia sessions, creator showcases and leaderboard rewards. Promoted through official channels, including @BigoLiveArabia, it will encourage creators and viewers to join match-day conversations, share their views and connect with other fans in real time.

As part of the activation, Bigo Live has launched a creator spotlight series inspired by the excitement of the football season. Each round will highlight football rivalries, regional fan communities and creator-led discussions, with participating creators hosting themed livestreams that feature football-inspired visuals, hot-topic fan discussions, audience engagement activities and community challenges. Selected creators will be featured in promoted match-day livestream sessions, while top-performing participants will be recognized based on audience engagement, creativity and community response.

The campaign also includes multi-guest room football channel programming throughout June and July, featuring pre- and post-match conversations, weekly trivia sessions and Q&A formats led by football-focused creators from GCC and Levant markets. Sessions will explore fan predictions, team performances, player comparisons and the wider stories shaping the season, supported by platform exposure and engagement incentives.

To extend the experience beyond livestreaming, Bigo Live introduced a football-themed Instagram competition, with the first round running from 15 to 30 June 2026. Fans will be invited to share Reels capturing match reactions, predictions, celebrations, viewing moments and creator content inspired by their football experience on Bigo Live. Outstanding entries will be recognized for creativity, engagement and the strength of community participation.

“Football has a unique ability to bring people together, especially across the MENA region, where every match becomes a shared moment of anticipation, conversation and pride,” said Khaldoun Mahmoud, Government Relations Director, Middle East & North Africa, BIGO Technology. “Through this campaign, we are creating a digital gathering place where fans can celebrate the season in their own voices, creators can lead meaningful conversations, and communities can experience the excitement of football together.”

Additional in-app missions, viewing incentives, themed creator assets, mascot-led content and daily conversation starters will help sustain participation throughout the tournament period. Bigo Live will also spotlight match-day moments with strong regional relevance, including fixtures featuring teams from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Iraq, Algeria and Jordan, enabling communities across the region to engage with live cultural moments through interactive content.

By bringing football conversations into live rooms, Multi-guest Rooms, Instagram Reels and creator-led community spaces, Bigo Live continues to strengthen its role as a platform for real-time connection, local creator talent and shared digital experiences. The campaign builds on Bigo Live’s wider commitment to supporting communities across the Middle East by creating spaces where culture, entertainment and everyday fan passion can come together.

Users can follow @BigoLiveArabia and visit the Bigo Live Campaign Hub to join the campaign, participate in creator-led football conversations and take part in upcoming challenges.
