    Saudi Arabia strengthens environmental security with new headquarters in Al-Baha

    ALBAHA — Minister of Interior lays the foundation stone for the headquarters of the Special Force for Environmental Security in the Baha region.

    Saudi Minister of Interior (MOI), Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud, laid the foundation stone for the headquarters of the Special Forces for Environmental Security in the Al-Baha Region, in the presence of Prince Fahd bin Saad and a number of senior officials accompanying the Minister of Interior.

    The event, which took place on Thursday, was held in the presence of theGovernor of Al-Baha Region, Prince Hussam bin Saud, and the Deputy Governor of Al-Baha Region.

    Prince Abdulaziz was briefed on the project, which comes as part of the MOI’s efforts to strengthen the environmental security system across the Kingdom’s regions.

    The MOI also reviewed a visual presentation on the new headquarters and its planned operational, administrative, and logistical facilities, as well as advanced technological equipment designed to support the work of the Special Forces for Environmental Security and enable them to perform their duties with high efficiency.

    The project will enhance the Special Forces’ readiness for Environmental Security and support their efforts to protect the environment and natural resources, enforce relevant laws and regulations, strengthen environmental sustainability, and keep pace with national development goals.
