King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSH) in Madinah recorded 42,402 outpatient visits across its core specialized services in 2025, up 4.6% from 2024. The growth reflects the hospital’s role in providing specialized care for residents of Madinah and nearby areas, while improving access to advanced healthcare services.
Oncology services saw significant growth during the year, with 20,754 outpatient visits, an increase of 24.2% compared with 2024. This growth came alongside the hospital’s continued development of advanced treatment services, including its endoscopic nipple-sparing mastectomy program with immediate reconstruction, as well as the use of advanced surgical techniques for tumors and complex cases. These developments underscore the hospital’s expanding clinical capabilities in oncology care.
The hospital also welcomed 7,815 new patients during the year, a 16.1% increase from 2024, and performed 4,934 surgical procedures, up 12.4% over the same period. These figures point to the growth of clinical services and the broader scope of care provided by the hospital, supporting KFSH’s ambition to be the preferred choice for every patient by delivering advanced specialized services that meet patients’ needs and the highest quality standards.
King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Madinah has 400 beds and serves the region across several specialties, including pediatric and adult oncology, ophthalmology, and obstetrics and gynecology. The hospital has also received 14 training accreditations across various medical and nursing specialties.
King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre has been ranked first in the Middle East and Africa and 12th globally among the world’s top 250 academic medical centers for 2026 and recognized as the most valuable healthcare brand in the Kingdom and the Middle East for 2026, according to Brand Finance. It was also listed by Newsweek among the World’s Best Hospitals, World’s Best Smart Hospitals and World’s Best Specialized Hospitals for 2026.
