Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) returns from July 2 to August 30, bringing 60 days of shopping, entertainment, dining and family activities across the city. This year’s edition features everything from apartment giveaways and major retail sales to concerts, restaurant deals and staycation offers.

Here’s a look at 12 highlights residents can look forward to this summer.

    1. Win a Dubai home

For the first time, DSS is giving residents the chance to win one of 12 residential units worth more than Dh50 million through the new Win Your Home in Dubai campaign. Two winners, an Indian resident and a resident from Kazakhstan have already received studio apartments, with the remaining homes to be awarded during the festival.
