Black Spade Capital Limited (“Black Spade”) is proud to support Jonathan Emery, CEO of Aldar Development, one of the largest developers in the UAE, as he joins a team of riders taking on a remarkable 3,333km cycling challenge from Barcelona to Paris in support of CycleAgainstCancer, in aid of the Al Jalila Foundation.

The 25-day charitable endurance challenge will see a team of 15 riders from the UAE cycle through Spain and France, covering over 54,000 metres of elevation to raise awareness and funds in support of cancer treatment, care and research.

Mr. Dennis Tam, President and CEO of Black Spade, commented: “Black Spade has received invaluable support and guidance in establishing our family office branch in the UAE. Beyond the professionalism and dedication we have encountered, we have been deeply touched by the generosity and hospitality of the people in a country we will soon call home. When we learned of our dear friend Jonathan Emery’s commitment to taking on this extraordinary cycling challenge in support of the Al Jalila Foundation, we felt there was no better way to give back to the local community”.

He added: “As CEO of Aldar Development, Jonathan manages an exceptionally demanding schedule, yet his commitment to this cause reflects his dedication to creating meaningful impact beyond the workplace. His effort not only represents physical endurance, but also demonstrates how individuals from diverse backgrounds can come together in support of a cause that touches countless lives. Black Spade is honoured to support this important initiative, and we wish Jonathan and the team every success as they take on this inspiring journey”.
