RIYADH — Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held separate phone calls with his counterparts in Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Jordan to discuss regional developments, efforts to reduce tensions, and ensure freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

Prince Faisal spoke with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Bahraini Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, and Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi.

During the calls, the ministers reviewed the latest developments in the region and reaffirmed their condemnation of repeated Iranian attacks against countries in the region.

They also rejected any actions that undermine the sovereignty of states or threaten regional security and stability.

The discussions included an exchange of views on ongoing efforts to restore security, reduce regional tensions, and safeguard freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.
