MAKKAH —Nusuk Marhaba, one of the qualitative initiatives of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, welcomes pilgrims at Saudi Arabia’s entry points through reception, guidance, and orientation services that ensure a smooth start to their spiritual journey.

Nusuk Marhaba helps organize pilgrims’ movement and facilitate their transition through various stages of their journey by operating at over 25 land, air, and sea entry points, the ministry noted. It strengthens coordination among entities operating at the Kingdom’s ports of entry and ensures better services for pilgrims.

Serving Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, the initiative supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program.

The ministry said Nusuk Marhaba is built on a direct field presence at arrival and departure points. It helps streamline entry and exit procedures, improve operational efficiency, and support pilgrims throughout their journey from the moment they arrive in the Kingdom until departure.

Nusuk Marhaba teams provide reception and welcome services, guidance and information related to pilgrims’ journeys, direct them to relevant services and authorities, and assist with special cases and operational challenges. Qualified multilingual field staff are capable of communicating with pilgrims from diverse nationalities and cultural backgrounds.

Since the start of the 1448 AH Umrah season on Dhu Al-Hijjah 15, Nusuk Marhaba has served more than 922,913 beneficiaries. A total of 292 staff members have been deployed under the approved operational plan, with 4,033 field visits conducted to monitor service quality. The visits recorded only 34 findings, underscoring the efficiency of field operations and the high standard of service delivery.

During the 1447 AH Hajj season, Nusuk Marhaba served nearly 1.5 million pilgrims, highlighting its role in supporting them throughout the Hajj and Umrah seasons and enhancing their experience from arrival to departure. The ministry affirmed that it will continue developing Nusuk Marhaba, further enhancing its operational readiness and integration with relevant entities.

This effort aims to deliver a distinguished arrival experience that reflects Saudi hospitality and ensures a smoother, more reassuring journey for pilgrims.
