The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) and Najran University signed a cooperation memorandum to contribute to capacity building in Yemen and support research, development, and innovation in development projects and initiatives, aiming to enhance their efficiency and sustainability and achieve lasting impact.
The cooperation will cover human capacity building, training accredited by Najran University, and the development of university education to meet labor market needs in Yemen.
The memorandum also provides for advisory, administrative, and technical support for SDRPY’s development projects in priority sectors, including renewable and clean energy, agriculture and water, and transport.
SDRPY has delivered 300 development projects and initiatives, either completed or under implementation, across various Yemeni governorates in eight key sectors: education, health, transport, water, energy, agriculture and fisheries, development programs, and government capacity development and support.
