The Public Health Authority (Weqaya) launched the “Your Health, Your Choice” campaign in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Ministry of Media, Saudi Food and Drug Authority, and Center for Government Communication. The campaign aims to raise nutritional awareness and help community members make informed, balanced food choices, supporting preventive health and improving quality of life.
The campaign focuses on daily dietary practices, particularly balanced sugar consumption and awareness of added sugars in foods and beverages. It also emphasizes reading and understanding nutrition labels to help consumers compare products and choose those best suited to their nutritional needs.
Targeting various segments of society, particularly families and children, the campaign provides simple, reliable educational content that turns nutritional concepts into practical, sustainable daily habits. It seeks to build awareness that helps individuals better understand their food choices, make balanced decisions, and reduce nutrition-related risk factors, contributing to a healthier society.
