Acer’s Predator XB253Q U1 gaming monitor offers a 1,000 Hz refresh rate at Full HD resolution.

Eight new Predator, Nitro and ProDesigner models combine ultrafast refresh rates, 5K resolution and advanced display technologies, with EMEA launches planned from late 2026

Acer has unveiled eight monitors across its Predator, Nitro and ProDesigner portfolios, led by the Predator XB253Q U1, a 24.5-inch Full HD gaming display with a refresh rate of up to 1,000 Hz.

The new range targets competitive esports players, gaming enthusiasts and creative professionals, with models offering QD-OLED, Mini LED, 5K resolution and flexible refresh-rate modes.

The Predator XB253Q U1 combines its 1,000 Hz refresh rate with Acer’s Visual Response Boost (VRB) Pro motion-blur reduction technology, VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification and Circular Polarizer technology designed to reduce glare. AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility aim to minimise tearing during fast-paced play.

    High-resolution Predator displays
Acer has also introduced the 31.5-inch Predator X32 V3, which uses a QD-OLED Penta Tandem panel with UHD resolution at 180 Hz, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification and 99% DCI-P3 colour coverage. The 27-inch Predator XB273K V7 offers UHD at 160 Hz and Dynamic Frequency and Resolution (DFR) technology, which allows users to switch to Full HD at up to 500 Hz. An Acer Smart Dial provides convenient display adjustments.

Nitro range combines speed and detail
The Acer Nitro XV275X P brings 5K resolution at 165 Hz to a 27-inch Mini LED panel with 2,304 local-dimming zones and VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification. Using DFR, it supports QHD at up to 330 Hz, while a USB-C connection with 90 W power delivery and a KVM switch broaden its productivity capabilities.

For ultrawide gaming, the curved 34-inch Nitro XZ340CKR P supports 5,120 × 2,160 resolution at 180 Hz, or 2,560 × 1,080 at up to 360 Hz through DFR. The 27-inch Nitro XV275U Z2 combines 1,152-zone Mini LED backlighting with three selectable modes: QHD at 275 Hz, Full HD at 360 Hz and HD at 520 Hz. The Nitro XV270U Z3 offers the same three target refresh-rate modes, although supported rates can differ by connection type.

    ProDesigner targets creative professionals
The 27-inch Acer ProDesigner PE270X P is designed for photographers, designers and video editors. It offers 5K resolution at 165 Hz, a 2,304-zone Mini LED backlight, VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification and factory-calibrated Delta E below 1 colour accuracy. It covers 99% of Adobe RGB, sRGB and DCI-P3 and supports QHD at up to 330 Hz using DFR. A USB-C port with 90 W power delivery, Auto KVM and ErgoStand support professional workflows.
