Red Sea Global (RSG) announced the opening of Six Senses AMAALA, a beachfront resort located in the Triple Bay area of AMAALA, which will welcome its first guests starting in mid-July.

According to a recent RSG press release, this opening marks a new milestone in AMAALA’s journey as the destination continues to welcome guests to exceptional wellness experiences set amid a natural landscape where striking coastal cliffs, protected bays, pristine beaches, and the charm of mountainous desert scenery come together in harmony.

On this occasion, Group CEO of Red Sea Global John Pagano said: “We are committed to selecting our partners with great care, based on their alignment with our long-term vision for luxury tourism, which places regenerative tourism at its core in service of both people and nature. With this opening, Six Senses further reinforces its global reputation for wellness experiences inspired by nature, sustainability, and local culture, making it an ideal partner for AMAALA. As the second Six Senses resort within our portfolio, this partnership embodies our commitment to delivering hospitality experiences rooted in quality and meticulous attention to detail, enriching the tourism landscape in the Kingdom.”

The resort is the second result of the collaboration between Red Sea Global and the Six Senses brand, following the opening of Six Senses Southern Dunes at The Red Sea destination in 2023. Its design and character are inspired by the Kingdom’s traditional coastal architecture, allowing it to blend with a diverse natural ecosystem that includes beaches, mangroves, and desert mountains, while its open spaces offer expansive views of the surrounding landscapes.

The release highlighted that the resort offers guests an integrated collection of high-end facilities, featuring 100 suites and villas, in addition to 25 branded residences, all designed to harmonize with the surrounding nature. At the heart of the experience is the signature Six Senses Spa, offering specialized facilities including an advanced longevity and vitality center, a recovery lounge based on biohacking technologies, a Watsu pool, a sound dome, thermal facilities, and carefully designed wellness programs that combine cutting-edge technologies with holistic therapies.

In terms of dining experiences, the resort features three distinctive restaurants, an artisanal bakery, a coffee roastery, and a cooking school, all offering fresh cuisine inspired by the richness of the local environment and rooted in the Six Senses philosophy of wellness.

At the heart of the resort is a mangrove lagoon supported by environmental initiatives, including the Earth Lab and the Mini Mangrove World program, enabling guests to explore the surrounding ecosystems and enjoy interactive experiences within them. The resort also provides guests with direct access to AMAALA’s wider facilities and diverse experiences, including Corallium – the Marine Life Institute, AMAALA Yacht Club, marine adventures, desert activities, and a growing selection of retail and dining destinations.

Six Senses AMAALA is the second international resort to welcome guests at the destination, with six additional resorts scheduled to open during the year, further strengthening AMAALA’s position as one of the world’s largest luxury hospitality destinations dedicated to wellness.

Upon completion of the Triple Bay area at AMAALA, the destination will include more than 1,600 hotel rooms across nine resorts, in addition to branded residences, wellness facilities, yacht marinas, and a diverse range of retail destinations and dining experiences. Through this, Red Sea Global continues to contribute to achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by supporting the diversification of the national economy, creating new job opportunities, and reinforcing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s position as a leading global tourism destination.
