The Arab Tourism Organization, represented by President Bandar Al Fahid and members of the organization’s General Secretariat, has concluded its participation in the 58th Ordinary Session of the Higher Coordination Committee for Joint Arab Action in Jordan.

The meeting was hosted by the Association of Arab Universities in the Jordanian capital, Amman, under the chairmanship of Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Ahmed Aboul Gheit. It brought together the heads and secretaries-general of 28 specialized Arab organizations and institutions operating under the umbrella of the League of Arab States and the joint Arab action framework.

Al Fahid said the meeting discussed various strategic issues on its agenda, including follow-up on the implementation of decisions adopted during the committee’s previous session.

Participants also reviewed the outcomes of the First Annual Arab Forum on Artificial Intelligence and discussed mechanisms for establishing an Arab AI observatory based on big data.

The meeting further addressed issues related to Arab trade integration, energy and food security, digital transformation, AI governance, and the work plans of joint Arab organizations and institutions.
