RIYADH — The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) recorded 1,210 seizures of prohibited items at the Kingdom’s land, sea and air customs ports over the past week. The seizures included 88 narcotics-related cases involving cannabis, cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, Captagon pills and other illicit drugs, as well as 402 prohibited items. Customs officials also intercepted 2,425 tobacco products and derivatives, 18 cases involving undeclared cash, and three cases involving weapons and related items.
