Researchers in Abu Dhabi say they may have found a way to address both problems at once. A team at New York University Abu Dhabi has developed smart molecules that made brain tumours visible on MRI scans while also helping destroy cancer cells in laboratory tests and animal studies. RIYADH — Saudi date exports recorded strong growth across key global markets, rising between 39% and 67% in 2025 compared to 2024, according to the National Center for Palms and Dates With the total value of date exports surpassing SR1.9 billion in 2025 — up 14.3% — four key markets, among more than 125 countries importing Saudi dates, recorded notable increases. Exports to the Netherlands rose by 47% compared to 2024, while shipments to China increased by 39%. In South Africa, exports grew by 48%, and Japan recorded the highest increase at 67% year-on-year. SYDNEY — Two people were killed after a small plane crashed into a hangar at an airport in South Australia on Wednesday afternoon, authorities said. General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) issued today the results of the 2025 Health and Safety at Workplace Statistics bulletin. According to the results, the risk awareness index among workers aged 18 years and above reached 76.7%, while the rate of occupational injuries among workers aged 15 years and above recorded 245 non-fatal injuries and 1.3 fatal injuries per 100,000 workers, excluding road traffic accident injuries.
