RIYADH — The Ministry of Commerce has blocked an online store after it was found using images of national symbols and state officials to promote its products, in violation of regulations. The ministry said the store exploited such images in commercial advertising, breaching rules that prohibit the use of official symbols and figures in business activities. It noted that a circular issued under a royal directive bans the use of the state emblem, as well as images and names of officials, in commercial transactions, publications, and promotional materials. TEHRAN — Iran has declared the Strait of Hormuz open to commercial shipping, linking the move to the ongoing ceasefire in Lebanon.
