The General Directorate of Medical Services at the Ministry of Interior continues its annual blood donation campaign in conjunction with World Blood Donor Day, observed annually on June 14.

The campaign is being conducted at several locations across the Kingdom as part of efforts to promote social responsibility and support blood banks by helping meet their needs for blood units and blood products.

The campaign serves the ministry’s personnel and members of its security sectors, as well as employees in the public and private sectors. Donation sites include Security Forces hospitals in Riyadh, Makkah, and Dammam, in addition to specialized comprehensive clinics across various regions of the Kingdom.

The campaign aims to raise awareness of the importance of blood donation and its role in saving lives. It also promotes a culture of humanitarian and volunteer work, helps meet the needs of patients and injured individuals, and supports blood banks in maintaining readiness to meet medical requirements.
