The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at), in partnership with the Saudi Exports Development Authority, concluded the activities on Export Week, which was held from August 23 to 27, 2026, at the SMEs Support Centers in Riyadh, Jeddah, Madinah, and Al-Khobar, as well as in Aseer Region at the Work Corner incubator in cooperation with the Aseer Region Development Authority. The event also took place at the headquarters of the Qassim Chamber and Tabuk Chamber, and included virtual meetings in cooperation with Al-Baha Chamber. The aim was to strengthen integration with government agencies and services that support exports and to highlight the sector’s most prominent investment opportunities.

The Export Week drew over 1,600 participants, with more than 20 exhibitors present. The program included eight main sessions, over 60 entrepreneurial meetings, and approximately 650 consultative sessions, with more than 40 entities participating. The week aimed to strengthen the readiness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to expand beyond the local market by connecting them with entrepreneurs and government and private sector entities within the export ecosystem. It also aimed to familiarize them with export requirements, financing and logistical solutions, and opportunities available in global markets, while facilitating direct communication with supporting organizations, exploring new markets, and building business relationships that strengthen the international competitiveness of Saudi products and services. In the opening session of the week’s events.

Vice Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Industrial Affairs Khalil bin Salamah affirmed that the export sector represents one of the main drivers of the growth of the national economy and provides promising opportunities for small and medium enterprises, pointing to the importance of understanding the target markets, customer needs and requirements, and taking advantage of technology and developing production lines to raise the competitiveness of local products and enhance their readiness to reach global markets.
