    Riyadh’s Wadi Laban parallel bridges to serve 400,000 vehicles daily

    RIYADH — The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) announced that construction of two parallel bridges alongside the Wadi Laban Bridge is 28 percent complete, with the project set to serve more than 400,000 vehicles daily.

    The RCRC, on its official X account, shared that these bridges — each of 763 meters long and with a geometric height ranging from 161 to 175 meters — will support the movement of more than 400,000 vehicles daily.

    In addition, the bridges will have four main supports, with each bridge on two bases.

    According to the RCRC, the bridges will have a higher absorption capacity and 82 percent higher traffic efficiency, and are expected to improve travel time by 75 percent.

    The future vision for the two parallel bridges to the Wadi Laban Bridge, within RCRC’s program to develop Riyadh’s ring roads and main roads.

    The RCRC stated that these bridges are advanced structures that will improve traffic efficiency and provide a smoother route for the city and its visitors.

    This project is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the efficiency of major corridors and improve traffic flow and mobility.
