Vibrant, multi-colored lighting installations have adorned Raghadan Forest in Al-Baha, creating a captivating visual experience for visitors as the summer tourist season accelerates.
The forest remains one of the Kingdom’s premier natural destinations, drawing increasing numbers of tourists with its temperate climate and unique ecological features. Key attractions include the 650-meter-long Al-ghaym Walkway, illuminated by 65 light poles, and the central lavender garden, featuring 270 decorative lights and aesthetic sculptures. During the summer months, the site is further enhanced by interactive laser shows, dynamic lighting displays, and illuminated waterfalls set seamlessly into the natural landscape.
Located in the Sarawat Mountains west of Al-Baha city, the forest overlooks the dramatic slopes of Tihama. The site spans over 483,000 square meters—including 384,000 square meters of dedicated green space—and is equipped with 14 playgrounds and 1,230 parking spaces, featuring designated access for people with disabilities.
The destination is defined by its dense vegetation and ancient juniper trees, a core element of the region’s environmental identity. Combined with the frequent rolling mists, the diverse terrain creates a sweeping panoramic spectacle that continues to attract nature enthusiasts, picnickers, and photographers.
