    57 people were arrested for attempting to enter Makkah illegally

    ARAFAT — Hajj security forces arrested a total of 57 people for entering Makkah without Hajj permits.

    They include an Egyptian resident and a Saudi citizen for transporting 43 pilgrims in violation of Hajj regulations and instructions. The pilgrims were attempting to enter Makkah without Hajj permits in a truck equipped with a hidden compartment. Legal procedures were initiated against them.

    Hajj security forces also arrested 12 residents and visitors for violating Hajj regulations by attempting to enter Makkah on foot without a valid Hajj permit.

    Public Security urged all Saudi citizens and residents to strictly adhere to Hajj instructions and guidelines, reminding the public to report any violations by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province or 999 across the rest of the Kingdom.
