The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources processed 778 chemical-clearance service requests in April as part of its efforts to support industrial investment and provide services that promote the growth and expansion of industrial enterprises. Ministry Spokesperson Jarrah Al-Jarrah said the processed applications included 703 requests for the clearance of imports of unrestricted chemicals and 75 requests for permits to import restricted chemicals. The issued requests covered a total of 2,758 items. KUWAIT — An Iranian drone and missile attack struck Kuwait’s international airport early on Wednesday, causing injuries and forcing authorities to divert flights, Kuwait’s state news agency reported.
