Fifteen companies backed by the European Innovation Council (EIC) will exhibit at GITEX AI EUROPE 2026 in Berlin next week, as part of a dedicated pavilion bringing together European deep-tech startups and scaleups at the event’s second edition.
GITEX AI EUROPE 2026 runs 30 June – 1 July at Messe Berlin, featuring 950-plus enterprise tech exhibitors and startups across two days. The EIC, which administers a €10.1 billion programme supporting high-potential European companies, is participating through its International Trade Fairs Programme 3.0. Exhibiting companies include Astrape Networks, CH-Bioforce, Classiq, Dronamics, Enersens, everox, Innatera, Invoier, Oledcomm, OniO and SpiNNcloud, among others.
The pavilion’s arrival follows a recent EIC Accelerator funding round in which 38 European start-ups and SMEs were selected to receive support, with total proposed grant funding of €90 million.

From quantum ambitions to physical AI
Among those exhibiting is SemiQon, a Finnish company developing cryo-optimised CMOS electronics aimed at one of quantum computing’s core technical constraints: scalability. The company is building electronics that operate inside cryogenic environments, which it says reduces system complexity, power consumption and cost compared to conventional approaches.
“Quantum computers have the potential to transform our world, from simulating new medicines and modelling climate systems to optimising energy grids and securing communications. But today’s quantum computers are not yet powerful enough to deliver on this promise, and a key barrier is scalability”, said Yukihisa Tsuruta, Business Development Director at SemiQon.
Belgium-based VoxelSensors is developing perception systems for robotics and Extended Reality applications. Its LyraCam/P platform integrates multiple sensing technologies into a single multimodal unit, designed to improve how machines process and navigate physical environments. The system has progressed to customer pilot deployments and is designed and manufactured in Europe.

Cybersecurity and AI infrastructure
Spain’s Alias Robotics, which exhibited at GITEX AI EUROPE 2025, will return to showcase cybersecurity technologies for robots and autonomous machines, a segment the company argues is increasingly relevant as autonomous systems become more embedded in critical infrastructure and industrial operations.
Endika Gil-Uriarte, CEO, Alias Robotics, said: “AI for cybersecurity is rapidly becoming a strategic capability and technological enabler for security teams in NIS2 sectors. Alias Robotics is the ‘European champion at sovereign AI for cybersecurity,’ designed to give organisations greater control, resilience, and technological advantage against an AI-driven threat landscape”.
French semiconductor company VSORA will present Jotunn8, an AI inference processor the company says delivers improved performance with lower energy consumption and total cost of ownership compared to existing solutions.
Jan Pantzar, VP Sales and Marketing, VSORA, said: “As Europe strengthens its position in deep tech and AI infrastructure, VSORA is contributing by building scalable and energy-efficient AI inference technology designed for the next generation of AI workloads”.
Innovation World Cup and European Night
The EIC will also organise the Innovation World Cup pitch competition on the Main Stage on day one of the event (16:20–17:05), in which European deep-tech startups will deliver 90-second presentations to an audience of investors and industry figures. Separately, the European Night, an invite-only reception, will bring together investors, venture capitalists and business leaders from across Europe for networking and deal-making on the sidelines of the event.
Europe’s innovation ecosystem
The EIC Pavilion at GITEX AI EUROPE 2026 spans quantum computing, AI infrastructure, cyber resilience and autonomous systems, sectors where European companies are competing for position in a global market increasingly shaped by sovereign technology considerations.
GITEX AI EUROPE is organised by inD, the newly formed joint venture between Dubai World Trade Centre and Informa, and the global organiser of GITEX, the world’s largest tech and AI event network.
