RIYADH — Phase Four of Riyadh’s Main and Ring Road Axes Program, comprising four projects totaling 40 kilometers and valued at SR9.8 billion, is underway, the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) announced.

The phase is expected to accommodate up to 950,000 vehicles per day, supporting a more efficient and integrated road network across the capital.

The four projects include Sheikh Jaber Road, Prince Mishal bin Abdulaziz Road, Prince Turki bin Abdulaziz I Road, and Najm Ad-Din Al-Ayyubi Road.

The 12-kilometer Sheikh Jaber Road project extends from its intersection with Thumamah Road in the north to its intersection with Khurais Road in the south, while the 13-kilometer Najm Ad-Din Al-Ayyubi Road project extends from Jeddah Road to Hamza bin Abdul Muttalib Street.

The 6-kilometer Prince Mishal bin Abdulaziz Road project runs from the Wadi Hanifa Bridge in the east to its intersection with the Western Ring Road in the west. The 9-kilometer Prince Turki bin Abdulaziz I Road project begins at its intersection with Makkah Al-Mukarramah Road in the east, passes through Al-Rafiah neighborhood and Wadi Hanifa, and continues to its intersection with Al-Arijah.

Collectively, the projects include 14 main intersections, 33 bridges, six pedestrian bridges, and five tunnels. The road network will feature 14 main lanes and nine secondary lanes.
