The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) has signed an investment agreement with the National Company for Learning and Education (NCLE) to lease, operate, and develop an educational complex in AlUla through Trbyh Namouthajyah Schools, with the aim of contributing to enhancing the quality of education and expanding educational options for AlUla students.
The agreement reflects RCU’s strategic focus on promoting high-quality investment across various sectors, including education, which is regarded as a cornerstone of sustainable development. Investment in educational infrastructure serves as a key driver for building human capital and creating an environment attractive for living and working. The agreement also enables the private sector to contribute to the development of advanced educational services, thereby enhancing AlUla’s competitiveness and raising the standard of educational outcomes.
The agreement encompasses the development and operation of existing educational assets, integrating them into a comprehensive educational entity spanning early childhood through secondary education, in accordance with approved regulatory standards and international best practices.
Under the agreement, RCU undertakes to facilitate the project and provide the necessary incentives to support the development and operation of educational facilities. This includes handing over assets according to the agreed timelines and providing procedural support and coordination with relevant authorities to ensure completion of all required licenses and regulatory requirements.
NCLE commits to developing, equipping, and operating the educational facilities in line with approved requirements, obtaining all necessary licenses, adhering to academic and regulatory standards, managing and operating the school with high professional efficiency, and assuming responsibility for operational maintenance and all services essential to the sustainability of the facility.
This agreement represents a continuation of RCU’s efforts to empower the education sector and strengthen strategic partnerships, contributing to the establishment of a comprehensive educational system that supports community aspirations and keeps pace with the path of comprehensive development in AlUla.
