RIYADH — Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned an armed attack in southern Egypt that resulted in the deaths of two border guard officers.
In a statement issued on Friday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Saudi Arabia condemned the attack in the strongest terms, describing it as treacherous.
The ministry extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, as well as to the Egyptian government and people.
Saudi Arabia also reaffirmed its full solidarity with Egypt in confronting any attempt to undermine its security, expressing its wishes for continued stability for Egypt and its people.
