RIYADH — Saudi Arabia regained the top spot in the Esports World Cup 2026 Club Championship standings after 15-year-old Chilean player Jaime Bustos made history by winning the Street Fighter 6 title, becoming the youngest champion in the tournament’s history.

Busots’ “Craime” victory gave Team Falcons its first tournament title of this year’s Esports World Cup and lifted the club to 1,000 points, putting it atop the Club Championship standings at the close of Saturday’s competitions.

Craime defeated 30-year-old Japanese veteran Hibiki, the oldest competitor among the top eight, by a score of 5-2 in the grand final, and subsequently earning the $250,000 in prize money and secured qualification for Capcom Cup 13.

After suffering just one defeat in the group stage, the Chilean advanced through the knockout rounds with a 5-3 quarterfinal victory over EVO 2026 champion MenaRD before defeating EVO Japan 2026 champion Yamaguchi in the semifinals.

With eight of the tournament’s 12 titles still to be decided, Team Falcons remains well positioned to defend its Club Championship crown and could extend its lead before the weekend concludes as one of the favorites in the Call of Duty: Warzone Resurgence Series Championship.

This victory comes at a pivotal stage for Team Falcons, which won the Club Championship in the previous two editions and is seeking a third consecutive crown.
